Where will Jacko slot in when he's fit again???

With Racon playing well at Left midfield, I can't see Jacko taking his place, and our centre mid patnership seems to be developing.

Some possible options I have thought of are:

1>drop Waggy, move Parret to the right, Racon to the middle and play Jacko at left mid
2>straight swap with Bessone at LB

Personally, I wouldn't drop Racon, Semedo or Parret at the min. They seem to be working well together.

Jacko is a good player but I can't see either of these changes above taking place.
What would you do?

From what's been said lately - don't think it'll be a problem as he's unlikely to be back this season!

Must admit when I first saw the thread title I thought you were trying to find a place for the Fulham statue in the team...! We don't seem to move too much when defending set pieces - maybe theres a place for the statue on-the-line?

No need to rush him back.

When he's ready he can be on the bench and wait for his chance. No one in the midfield is levels above everyone else, they should all have to earn their place.

I worry that the next time we'll see JJ on a football pitch, he will be wearing a Brighton strip.

I will do my best to persuade him otherwise at the Sponsors' Dinner!

If he was to come back I'd play him instead of Waggy atm, who's been pretty bad since xmas, compared tot he start of the season at least

Like Mendonca and Weegie I'm fearful he might jump ship to pastures new , because as a left footer he will be in demand not just from Brighton but the possibly the likes of Millwall ,Palace or Watford as well . As such he offers something different to our other CM's . At 29 in the summer and 3 years at League 1 and League 2 he may feel he has to step up now because he might not get the chance again . Or he may feel we could build a promotion team around him and that next year will be a big one for the Addicks.
