Just curious as to how many people on here like the ever popular music genre that is dubstep.
Also does anyone know of any remixes that they can share on here?

I loved it couple of yrs ago, but all just sounds very very generic over commercialised rubbish now.

Its just slowed down bassier with annoying high pitch noised DnB for kiddies, whats wrong with good old fashion DnB

I've given it a listen, but it's not really my thing. Bit too downbeat for me. Now if you want to talk about Studio One...

Oh dear where do we start, I don't live Break beat, don't like drum & bass, hate UK Garage & this stuff incorporates much of all of it. Pony...no good for dancing to & will never play any of this music in my sets.

Had a dubstep/drum n bass night down Liquid Ashford the other night. Seeing everyone try to dance to dubstep is hilarious. As soon as Mistabishi (dnb dj - the reason I was there) everyone cleared the floor. Madness!

I have to say that some dubstep is okay, but most of it is awful. My missus loves it and it's always a fun convo point between us when finding music to listen to.

Nice one Curbey, admitting it is the first stage of recovery.

My son loves it. When he's not upstairs blasting it through the floorboards at us, he's trying to hog the computer to do his own mixes on Garage Band.  I hate it.  A year ago he was into indie and rock - he had really good taste.  Now, after doing a BTEC in music technology all he likes is bass as bad as an overdose of brown noise.  AAARRRRGGHHH!!!!!

Folev, Check out the Juno Dubstep 30 Podcast. 30 mixes dubstep style. That should keep you going for a bit.

As Ross said above "some dubstep is okay, but most of it is awful" But for anyone willing to give it a go check out: Nero - Innocence; Ellie Goulding - Your song (Blackmill Remix); Ed Sheeran - Firefly (Bravado Remix)

Love dubstep, especially the more filthy stuff.

Don't see the link to liking dubstep to thinking you're hard or being a poser, oh well.

Saw DJ Fresh and Dynamite MC last friday, amazing night.jun

As for where to find some mixes, try
