Asked if fans could expect wholesale changes to Charlton's squad over
the summer, Powell replied: "Inevitably, some players will express a
wish to see what's out there and I fully understand that. They'll keep
their options open, but I'll have to do what I have to do.

"I'm in the process of speaking to players and I've spoken to a number of young pros about their futures.

"I've got to get the right players in to play the way I want them to play. I've slowly changed it, but it takes time."

No real point to my thread just wanted to highlight that sentence as I think it is important & gave me a bit of optimism for the summer!!
