Born St Nicholas Hospital, Plumstead ....... now a housing estate apparently.

Brought up mostly in ".....Welling Kent, la la la"
    Went to Westwood Scrubs skool.

In Danson Park caught tadpoles and minows with fishing nets and took them home in jam jars.
Went down back alleys scrumping for apples from people's gardens.

Used to let off fireworks as a kid in Oxleas Woods.
Played a lot of football at Falconwood Fields.

Trundled up Shooters Hill at 20 mph on an ancient 89 bus to get to The Valley.

But no matter how far you live from the Valley, a home defeat to Carlisle, Exeter or Swindon can still seriously spoil your weekend!

It spooks me that I never clapped eyes on BHMB before it was knocked down.

When I lived in Springfields/Elliscombe mount estates, we used to think that Danson park was  going to the 'country' Oggy......
I live in 'exile' in Bexley village for my sins!, dreaming of a past that probably never existed!...... like most romantics.
