He wasn't let go. It has been a little while since we've made a dodgy knee signing. Far too long.

The reason that signings take so long to surface during the summer is that clubs don't want to pay any wages before they have to.

If you can save a few grand in wages buy delaying signings a couple of weeks/months then why not.

I agree but if people have actually signed, why wait to announce?

I can only think that deals are signed subject to League paperwork clearance which can't be put in place until contracts are actually due to commence. Maybe they want to announce several at once to get maximum impact with the sceptical fans.

My mate, who is a taxi driver, had a bloke who is is PA to the mayor of Hammerfest (Norway) in his cab and he told him that when the mayor was part of a trade delegation to Windhoek (Namibia) he met the ambassador for Laos, who knew an electrician from Goole, who was doing a job at a club in the west country (I can't say which one) and he heard from their youth team coach that frimpong is DEFINITELY on the way.

Relax guys. It's a done deal.

Blimey, the Arsenal Injury Curse will not be denied by tiny matters like moving to a different club in a different part of the country! Off subject but is there a worse medical team in the Premiership? The Arsenal ideal 1st 11 never seems to be full strength...

Last night, I heard Arsene singing a song
    Ooh-We, Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep, Cheep
Woke up this morning and my Frimpong was gone
    Ooh-We, Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep, Cheep
    Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep, Cheep, Chirp

    Sorry!

I posed the very same question just last week , never known a team with not only so many injurys but they take forever to come back and often pick up other knocks

After he had the audacity to give the shelf the five knuckle shuffle wave a couple of weeks back, such a terrible shame for the poor lad. Lets hope his knee isnt made of crisps like Jack Wilshere's ankle.

Looking for a loan move again ,cut from the Mirror.

With Razak gone would he be ideal?Or could he be the next Hayden Mullins or Darren Purse?

Emmanuel Frimpong is set to be sent out on loan to speed up his Arsenal return.

Frimpong, 20, is closing in on a first-team comeback after seven months out with a serious knee injury.

And the Gunners midfielder, who suffered the injury while on loan at Wolves earlier this year, expects another stint away from the Emirates.

Frimpong is set to play for a second-string Gunners side in Tuesday's League Cup tie at Reading and has been turning out for the club's U21s in recent weeks.

But he said: “I still don’t think I am 100 per cent right.

“I don’t want to push myself if I’m not ready - I don’t think I am ready for the Arsenal first-team yet.”

  • He's currently shakin' it all about, Large.
