  • The area of Schwabbing in Munich is not bad to stay. Short tube ride or 30 min walk into centre. Some nice bars and restaurants there too.

    My dates are 29th of September - 04th of October 3 people.
  • You have to take what you can get at this stage. Try hostelworld.com, It's good for low budget options and it's not just hostels. Also hostelbookers.com, very similar.

    There are a few camp sites that spring up here and there around Bierfest time, whether you like camping or not i don't know, the weather though generally tends to be dry and warm in southern Germany around mid-September time.

    Worked out 350 for 5 nights for 3 of us in olympia park really chuffed!!!
