We Are 87th In The League

My friend is a statistician (and a Colchester fan).  He has devised a league table to show the extent to which teams "Punch Above Their Weight".  No surprises, we are currently 87th, with only Southampton, Derby, Oxford, Sheff Wed and Bradford doing worse than us.

    I think you'll find we're (still) 5th

    I guess it's quite interesting, though obviously as the article says it's a very simplistic hypothesis:

    The hypothesis for exploring this is simple; attendance equals money, and money equals success

    Even attendance * ticket price would make it a little bit better.

    I like his naming of the MK Mongs. I also make him right that a club size is based on their attendance.

    You're right dabos, but I don't know how easy it would be to source that info for 92 clubs.
