    All the best of luck to Mark Kinsella in whatever he does - I am proud to say he was our captain, and when we went down, he stayed with us to lead the successful fightback (as I recall).

    DROGHEDA UNITED HAVE appointed former UCD and St Pat’s boss Pete Mahon as their new manager until the end of the season, after Mark Kinsella was forced to step down.
    With the club inching towards relegation, Kinsella left the club after his 60-day reign as caretaker manager came to an end, in accordance with the league’s official guidelines.

    It might be coaching badges. I think he still doesn't have them.

    Sounds like he was Kins' choice and he'll be working with him. Only allowed to step into the role on a temporary basis under UEFA guidelines, but this is the final game of the season and they are in dire need of a win against Shamrock Rovers. Between Drogs and Limerick for the relegation spot.

    Drogheda United were relegated last night. They had won the league in 2007 and finished 2nd in 2012.
