Who should we play in middle?

I have just been wondering with all the midfielders we have been signing who we should play there and how many?

    i would play 3 central midfielders ( hollands alonso stephens) with green switching wings in a more free role

    Green (Waggy) on the right.

    Hollands and Alonso in the centre.

    BWP/Hayes up front.

    Can't imagine many have seen any of them play regularly, and no one has seen how they play together yet.

    Would be nice if semedo signed so it wasn't completely different. If they are all new how do we expect them to gel as a team? They need to get used to each other quickly.

    Plenty of pre season games for them to get to know each other plus team bonding over in Spain. Getting the players we want and getting them early has been brilliant business.

    I'm not bothered who we have playing in the middle, or any other position, as long as they're not played out of position, they're on form and aren't playing just because of who they are (eg a household name)

    It's just good to have a range of options again. As long as they are on form, would be happy with any combination of Hollands, Stephens, Alonso or Jackson.

    The best thing about it is that we now appear to have good competition for places, and back-up for injuries. Now we just need to mirror that in the back four.

    When does the club fly out to Spain?

    Hopefully we'll be able to sign a couple more CB's by then.
