Part of FC Twente's Grolsch Veste stadium has collapsed, reportedly trapping an unknown number of people under the rubble.
The Enschede venue was in the process of undergoing renovation when the roof of a stand caved in on Thursday morning.Pictures appear to show part of the roof at one end of the ground has come down and initial reports suggest there may be casualties.Dutch news agency ANP reported that a large number of police, fire services and ambulances had arrived at the scene.A police spokesman said: "Part of the roof has collapsed. There are people under the rubble. We don't know how many."The spokesman could not comment on whether anyone had been killed or injured. He added that the roof's partial collapse was probably related to construction work at the stadium
