Personally don't see why U21's should not be overseen by the full England team manager, after al what was he doing while the U21's were in U21 tournament. There can be a part time match day coach where the fullteam obligations clash

didnt mean to be harsh on Curbs, just pointing out the attraction of a 'media' rather than a real role. Graham Taylor has won every match since he moved from the dugout to radio five live. Perhaps there is no alternative to Pearce, perhaps too many people are terrified of the abuse which may be hurled at them if they fail.
