So what can you say?

Alonso will join up and BWP will be there.

The two trialists did well v Welling as did most of the squad but this will be much more of a test v Championship opposition.

Fitness, team shape and team bonding will be more important than the result, right? Only if we lose : - )

1 - 1 with Williams giving Powell more to think about.

    The game for us will be in a similar format to last Saturday - two different teams playing 45 minutes each. Will be interesting with David James in goal for Bristol C.

    On the OS it states the KO time is 20.30.

    I'm sure they are not kicking off that late, i'm going and don't want to turn up after the final whistle.........

    bear in mind it will be at least 35degrees in the south of spain today...would be surprised to see it kick off before 8.30pm in all honesty.

    They always kick-off late in Spain as they don't see it as late!  Most people don't even go out for their evening meal until 10 o/c!

    I think - but check - on the OS it says that it is quoting local time

    Bet365 Go 9/4 Charlton to win with Evens Bristol City.   Also for interest Powell at 16/1 to be leauge 1 manager of Month for August.

    Thats Home to Bournmouth & Scunthorpe Lg1 and Reading carling Cup, and way to Notts Cty, Colchester, Bury Lg1. 

    I think 11 points and a cup win could see him win that.
