I think they are going to have a new away shirt every year and relegate last seasons to a 3rd strip.
The home shirt will be kept for two years as it is, frankly, totally unreasonable to change it every year. The Premier League clubs used to have a charter that guaranteed that all shirts had a two year life cycle, which is where the 3rd shirt came from I believe. If we have white for away then Sheff Utd, Southampton, Exeter and others will demand a third shirt, but we all know the real reason for it is to sell more shirts. Some fans will like the style of the away shirts, and as they aren't stuck to one colour it opens up all sorts of choices. And we have had all sorts over the years as Henry Irving is demonstrating with his recent auctions.
