Everyone at work (sidcup based) reckons we got 8 inches of snow tomorrow morning? Surely not!?

    i predict a massive disappointment.

    Whenever a big weather event is flagged in advance, its never as bad as what is forecast.

    you watch the train companies tomorrow saying:

    "Unexpected adverse weather conditions have caused these 13 hour delays"

    Except when it's a hurricane, in which case they forecasted 'light winds' !

    The Met are just covering their arses. It's possible, there is a huge amount of snow off the South West coast at the moment. They have no idea if it will reach London and the SE. If they don't warn us and it comes it makes them look silly. If they do warn us and it doesn't come then they don't care. They are just forcasters they say.
    They are going a bit over the top about this one though.
    We've had Black Mondays and Wednesdays in the City, let's have White Thursday!

    They'll be fook all Snow in Kent tonight, still think the trains will be up the wall in the morning due to 'Frozen Signal Points'.
