His contract has been terminated by Rangers. Is he out of our league? Wages might be steep but he'd be a real coup if we could get him in.

    If you can't make it in Scotland right now then even league two would be a push

    Maybe a couple of years ago but he looks like he has passed the point of no return now, he's 33 now and has not done much since a reasonable season with Sheffield United/Stoke in 08-09 when he got 19 goals in 40 games.

    He's apparently put some pork on too, so may not be match fit.

    My bet would be that he goes to a top-half CCC club.

    Would definitely do a job in our league. Rangers are about as good as a struggling Championship side.

    I think hed be good in this league, no doubt about that, but not sure hes what we need for this team.  Only striker needed now is a speed merchant as cover for BWP and as a shock impact from the bench.  Thinking about it, even then we have waggy.  God im loving our team this season!

    I agree with Addicted.  He may still have ability and would probably be quite a catch for a L1 team, but I can't see where he would fit into our team.
