    I would have settled for 0-90 mins: kept it tight.......

    ...but that 3 minute purple patch in the middle has just made every Charlton fan's day that little bit brighter! :)

    As I said in the match thread, Even the best teams need an element of luck sometimes. We rode that luck like Lance armstrong for the first 45 mins of both todays game and midweek. Just adds at bit more belief to the lads that if they don't give up they will get their reward.

    I was not expecting more than 2 points out of the 2 games and I'm absolutely elated to get 4pts.

    As a high flying executive, i momentarily succumbed to what is known in the game as a 'power nap', and resurfaced re-invigored and two goals to the good :-)

    Great win. But no leagues are won in October remember.

    Look forward to hearing the accounts of those at the game.

    In the Rutland Arms close to the ground with Spirit of 1947 (decent guy, but looks like a sex offender). Brilliant game, Blades fans in pub saying we sliced and diced 'em. We did, but always nice to hear it from t'opposition
