Went to see it about 9 times when it came out and thought it was the best film ever - prefer Holy Grail now (think it stands up slightly better to multiple watching although seeing LOB for the first time was, to excuse the pun, a revelation) but at the top of their game the python's were genius. Do remember the church getting into a real stew at the time but that reaction only made them look ridiculous. Both films so packed with gags that come off it is ridiculous.
