    Madjid unavailable for one month.

Madjid will be unavailable for one month following a light injury received during the match against Manchester in Old Trafford. Already coming back from injury, the international Algerian felt the knee split during a duel with Saha. Further to a scan taken today, a wound not requiring an operation was disclosed, rest and care should allow Bougherra to return in one month

basically says he's just returned from injury and suffered a whack to his knee in a collision with Saha. He's had an scan on it which revealed he won't need an operation, but it will need rest and that he'll be out for a month.

    OK, what it says is....

Majid will be indisposed for around one month after receiving a leg injury in the match against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Having already picked up a knock earlier in the game, the Algerian international was hurt again in a challenge with Saha. Having been through an X-Ray yesterday it has been established that it will not be neccesary for an operation to be peformed. In fact, a period of complete rest should allow Bougherra to return to the battle in less than a month.

Now, who do I send my invoice to?

oh well, it was nice of him to show his face....

Collision with Saha is putting it mildly - surprised it didn't break his leg. Saha followed through with all his weight when he could easily have pulled out.

That's more like the Charlton we all know and love,a centre half with a knackered knee.
