Chris Powell certainly should be the winner this time. Wiggins is playing out of his skin, but how many times does a full back get the prize ? On recent performances I am surprised that BWP is not up there.

think hudds have got more points than us this month, not sure though.
  • if he didnt win it when we went unbeaten would be amazing if they gave it to him after a defeat...

Happy for Chrissy to come second every month and win the end of season award (The important one).
  • Apparently it's Clark (Hudds) v Slade (Orient) and Powell is missing out again...

... which i doubt he's bothered about it.

Wiggins has got no chance. Rhodes back to back hattricks will win it.

Huddersfield have more points so expect Clarke to get the manager award.

Suits to be honest. Dont want the attention.

I think being top of the league may have given the game away re attention ;-)
  • Hope neither of them win as the Player/Manager of the month award curse shall strike and we'll start loosing.
  • Don't need this - and we're on TV twice this month, so real kiss of death stuff!

    Not if you read OwlsTalk!!!
  • No awards thanks and no live games would be good. That way we might stay top of the league and have a good cup run, you never know we could make the 3rd round!

Interestingly - Powell must have come second in every vote so far this season.

Manager of the month should always read- a trophy for whichever manager has accumulated the most points in the month - which is fair enough I suppose. Don't think Chrissy will be in the slightest bit bothered and those of us who think the title is a jinx will be somwheat releived- at least for another month!

I tend to agree that the manager with the most points should generally win, though it is a bit simplistic and doesn't take account of the bigger picture.   I think that there's a case for winning those points against tougher opposition, with a depleted team, good cup performances or turning a team around.  I think Russell Slade should have won this month for the massive upswing that Orient had in October.

Finally, will everyone please stop going on about a curse.  There is no curse.  The whole notion flies in the face of reality.  You just make yourselves look completely bonkers!

Interesting - I thought this too - damn that the panel is full of English people - does not give them Welsh people a chance...
