    And every choice offered is wrong.  If you were really answering at random it would be a lot lower that, closer to Rufus' 0.  Those answers are forced choice, not random.

    It's a good point. It would be better if c) was 0%
    The trouble with that is that 0 isn't quite right either, because of all the billions and billions of answers that you could give, one just might turn out to be right. I'd say that the correct answer is that the chances are infinately small: 1/∞

    I still think it's a great question though. Sorry to be so picky ;-)

    Another more important question. What school is this? and where in the world do they still use blackboards, sorry chalkboards. at my daughter's school every class room has a huge touch screen computer monitor up on the wall.

    The answer is 100%. You will be right every time.

    There is no stipulation that the percentages shown in ABCD relate to the question - in fact, they obviously don't because 33% is not an option.

    So the question in it's long form must mean ............
    "If you choose and answer to this question, what are the chances that you will choose and answer to this question?"

    Hence the answer is 100%.

    For the pedants among you it says "an answer" which implies, as above 1/infinity
    If you interpret it as "an answer from the four choices", logically it is 1/4 -> 25%
    But TWO of the choices are 25% so it should be 2/4 -> 50%
    ....but only if you say 50% and not B) as that is the 'wrong' answer...

    Makes you think though!!
