Gallows Sense of Humour: Preston Fans classic posting

Thought some Lifers would have a smile at this posting.  I remember some grim Charlton performances last season and yesterday brought home to me the amazing the turn around.  Preston fans are a great crack-my wife's from Preston so I'm enjoying Sunday-although I wont be touching a Lancashire curry!

    I think some of the funniest things are said at the darkest times-I suppose that's the only thing that keeps you going as the football almost becomes incidental.  These really are good times now and we should all thanks Christ that we're not scraping by with a team of has beens and free transfers nobody wants.

    I thought the same thing.

    Mind you I think I might find all this winning a bit boring if it last more than 2 or 3.......

    What cracks me up is it now seems to be becoming semi-official that they "beat us in the second half".  WTF?  If we're gonna play that silly game lets get it right.  They won the last 5 minutes.  We won the previous 17 X five minute games.

    D'oh!
