Think that Chelsea game was 4-2, not 5-20

This. Worth mentioning though on the grounds that is was great!0 -
My first CAFC game was Saturday November 5, 1955- beat Man City 5-2. 50th anniversary game was Saturday November 5 2005, lost 5-2 to....Man City! When the stoppage-time board was shown on Saturday, I just KNEW ther would be another goal. Sadly, I'm not a betting man :-(

One of my first away games I'm pretty sure we lost 5 2 to Luton 1988

Didn't Rufus score an own goal in that game?
No - I think he only got one. If it's the game I'm thinking of, the Roof got a couple and I think Hunty got one too.We beat Grimsby 5-2 away in 1999
was at this midweek one. mendonca returning to old club. didnt he score a hat-trick? foggy as hell that night in cleethorpes. a bit of a fight in car park after, bit of hand bags i think.

I'm not going senile! Thanks for the reassurance No.1 in SL!
We beat Halifax 5-2 at home on Tuesday 2nd October 1973 (Hales 2, Horsefield 2, Peacock)
Halifax must be a false recall!
I also remember the 5-2 against Halifax. Had a great attack in those days. Hales, Horsefield, Flanagan, Powell. (Flan left wing later replacing Arthur).0 -

Yep, remember that, late in season 88/89 maybe?? Somebody had some tenuous link to a Luton fan who got us in despite their no away fan policy. Really wish I hadn't bothered, think Andy Jones got the goals late on, we were rubbish, down 4-0 very quickly and looked certain for relegation. Managed to avoid that obviously with wins over Wimbledon & Derby.Went again to Luton the next year (why?) and got caught by police because we looked like away fans trying to navigate the turnstile system.....will never go to Luton again.
