The youth team won 9-0 today, Azeez scored 4 & Harriot 3. I'm aware its a cup game against a team I personally have never heard off, however the goals sound decent and there are names such as Azeez, Sho-Silver, Harriot, & Poyet that seem only to be mentioned in a positive context. I haven't had the chance to see them in action (ex. Harriot), but with Paul Hart at the helm it looks odds on that we are going to churn out some more talent a la Shelvey, Jenkinson.
Have any of you followed the youth team over the years / seen these players progress? If so who should I be championing when bored of discussing our glorious senior squad?
