I'm just out of hospital after an HTO operation (early arthritis in knee - 'break' tibia  - straighten leg bow  - fix with plate - unload arthritic bit). Six weeks of leg brace and crutches + a few months' recovery beyond that.

Has anyone else experienced this op? How did it go? I bet a good few ex-footballers go through the same op.

I'm hoping to get back to tennis (doubles only!) in the spring.

    Just come crutches in the last month, ankle ligament reconstruction. If you are in the north upper, jump in the lift.
