When I saw this had been bumped I thought it was because the Alfie Boe version has just been released .

I purchased it on I tunes and it is very interesting hearing the songs played differently.

Here is Alfie's version of Love Reign Over Me.

My wife just bought me the CD ...it's a very good version.

seem as though it's better than the Lou Reizner production of Tommy!

Anyway, I'd suggest you take Curb It's advice

    That would be a first!

I miss old Chirpy!!! Whatever happened to him...

He has to work for a living now I believe, no more long days spent on here trying to wind people up, especially after lunch!

The band that featured in the club scene have reformed. Cross Section, sang "High Heeled Sneaker" but dropped off the radar years ago. I'm seeing them at a charity do at Kenney Jones (Small Faces & The Who) Polo venue this Saturday. There's a display of classic cars, polo games and a concert in the evening.

'kin typical. They played 2 numbers last night, where was I? In the bloody queue for the trampolines at the funfair with my daughter. I didn't miss Ali Campbell so not all bad... oh, hold on.

Apparently Pete Townshend recorded the wave breaking sounds, on the beach at the end of my road.

Would loved to have been there last night . I left it too late in applying for tickets.

I was in the audience for the live at the Palladium performance and Alfie Boe was superb . I love the recording of the new version and comparing it to the original .

    Both are masterpieces.
