    Chick Pea and Chirizo
  • 1. Gotta agree with the clam chowder but not in a mug at my desk.

    2. Cream of tomato (Heinz only though)

    3. Leek & spuds....mmmmmmmmmm

  • Butternut Squash with Orange and Ginger

Minestrone ( with lashings of Parmigiano)

    Leek and Potato

Must be homemade though together with crusty whole seeds homemade bread - one of the luxuries of being knackered old retired gits is having the time to indulge one's tummy.

My first selling job 50 years ago was with Campbells Soup. We were taken to the Factory, and by the time you left you were convinced that they were the best. I'm not too familiar with today's range, but here goes :-

    Farmhouse Vegetable.

    Cream of Celery

    Tomato Rice

  • In no real order:

    - Cream of Chicken
    - Chinese Hot & Sour
    - Broccoli & Stilton
  • As a sidenote, Heinz have a limited edition cream of chicken AND mushroom out. The best of both worlds. Like drinking the insides of a dozen or so Pukka Pies. Heaven.

Morrisons have it at the moment. Its not 'the best' range, but something similar. Id say the best non home made soup ive ever had.

Soup is something i don't normally bother with unless i'm ill but if i had to plump for one it would be 'Soupe De Poison' with the floating toasted bread, garlic sauce and cheese. Not something you'd have in a mug though i guess.
