I run the office so i have a secret little knob at the back which i run off and I switch it up or turn it down depending on how bad my hot flushes are.
You shouldn't treat other members of staff like that.
Get the guys in the office to forego wearing deodorant for the day and turn the heating UP and make sure you all find plenty of reasons to walk past their desks or stop and have a chat and apologise for the unfortunate effect the warm office has...
BA I share your pain, I have a rad near my desk, when I went in the other morning it had been turned up to 6 , it was like the flaming sahara in there, in answer to your question I'd say B , speak your mind in the workplace,You must also wear a removable Cardy so they can see you mean business ( lots of people on here can give you advice on which types to wear/ not wear). :-0
When you go into work on monday, just fall asleep at your desk and snooze the day away, stating that the temp is making you drowsy and unable to function.
Or little knobs. anyway i don't even have a knob its just a button which I switch up or down.
I think the problem is is that its very mild out so heating is too much. we still have ours on cooling because the heat is overbearing. Tho the other lady I work with complains of being cold we just ignore.
Bournemouth - definitely option C, but you should supplement it by sitting in a deckchair with your shades on, covered in suntan lotion and eating an ice cream. If anyone asks what you're doing just say, without looking up, "I'll have a strawberry daiquiri please Pedro".

Do the flushes get more intense if somebody plays with a knob at the back whilst your playing with the one at the front?

No work, plenty of kip = win win all round. :-)
Get whoever is your heath n safety officer to make a ruling on what the optimum temp should be

No wonder you're having hot flushes if you're flicking your button up & down all day!! ;-)
