I work for a small community development project and we want to change our font from Arial to ?
Which font would be best for being easily readable and professional looking?
I tend towards Trebuchet, any other ideas would be appropriate.
Thanks

This is the sort of trainspotting esque thread i can get excited about.
Why thank you kindly young sir.
Of course this is why I posted in the non sport bit of CL.
SMILEY THING WINKING BACK AT YOU, boldly.
I too use Calibri, point size 11.
It's like porn to some of them.
How are you going to use it (ie what software) and how are you intended it to be read (ie letters, internet, email).
A lot of fonts work well in different medium and in different colours / on different backgrounds.
We use Trebuchet for the website and word (sometimes Calibri) and antiqua for promotional materials / leaflets etc.

`I know a number of schools have a policy of using comic sans, on the basis that it is believed to be the easiest to read for children with reading difficulties.
Times New Roman 11, don't listen to the rest!
Please also note that Comic Sans is a hangable offence and is cause for disciplinary proceedings here
