Going. Taking youngest daughter to her first game.  I had to promise that she wouldn't hear any swearing.  She seems to have grown up with unusually high expectations of public behaviour.
Ha, is your youngest Karen from Outnumbered?

Yeah, going. Usual trio. However, I had to get my tickets yesterday at the superstore and couldn't get my usual seats, because they were being "held back" by the ticket office (which was closed), so if we lose today, it's entirely down to not being allowed to buy my usual seats (mind you, they will be empty and I will sit in them anyway). But, not the usual tickets = bad karma.

Not going. Really can't be bothered to go when I'd be a loner as all my mates aren't going.
  • Going. I want to see some of our fringe players as i have not seen anything other than league matches so far this season.

On my way shortly..........stopping off at The Northbrook (opposite Lee Station) which reopened yesterday after an extensive refurbisment..................and boy did it need it!

Not a local of mine but interested to see what's been done.

A fine range of Real Ales on offer I'm told.

Also told that The Imperial Arms in Chiselhurst is just about to reopen after getting new owners.

Not going full of cold and feel like death warmed up. I really cannot face a 70 mile round trip and queue for a ticket.

About bleeding time. The previous owners of the Imperial Arms let the place rot. Used to be a regular pre and post match watering hole but the place has gone to the dogs over the past 3 years. Hopefully they will get some proper beer in and nice decor compared to the euro fizz and worn out carpet that was there before.

    going, going, gone.
  • Sadly, no. Made the previous home cup games but paid the price of not anticipating a home cup game today when I put the home fixtures on the family calender at the strt of the season.. "She who must be obeyed" has prevailed on this occasion; she couldn't be persuaed that an afternoon at The Valley was preferable to a weekend away!

Safe trip home, Tel. Sorry not to have bumped into you this time.

Didn't go. Wanted to go. Gutted I missed it but had a prior engagement with a school Christmas Fair (when it was arranged we didn't have a fixture) :0(

    Went.
  • What's all this shopping problem. There's a shop at the ground anyway.
