Following on my post on another thread I thought I'd give this its own one ( unless its been done before)

1 - Bartletts volley
2 - Di Canios Dink pen v Lehman
3 - Kinsellas goal vs Man city, could have been 8-0 that day, but the 4-0 @ 33/1 was brilliant.

I'm sure that after reading others views i'll remember other stuff and change my mind.

3 - Fortune sending Palace down
  • 1. Claus Jenson's tackle goal at Maine Road.

1 - Chris Powells goal last game of season

    2 - Black Sabbath - 4-2 away victory at Highbury,especially Jensen's sublime chip.

3 - 4-0 victory over Curbs' West Ham. Flew out to Koh Samui day before and watched it in a bar. Phoned up my mates in North Upper during game so I could hear the atmoshpere. No doubting we were gonna stay up....

  • 1. Jenson's chip at Highbury... and then the sheer euphoria of Euell hurtling through to stick the 4th in
    2. Robbo's Man U equaliser
    3. Lisbie's mazy run for his third at home to Liverpool

In terms of a defining game, Clem is bang on with the Chelsea 4-2, can't pick a moment for that, but that entire 90 mins was the most surreal experience in our eight(?) seasons playing PL football
  • 1 - the 5-0 opening day win v southampton

2- 4-0 v west ham when Curbs returned

3- the man united 3-3 when giggs hit the bar from halfway and robison scores dramatic equaliser !

seems a shame to leave out the 4-2 at highbury or the 4-2 boxing day massacre v chelski !

  • ill pick 3 that people havent chose yet.

    1. Scott Parkers last minute mazy run goal vs Dirty Leeds.

    2. beating Villa 4-3 in 1999.

    3. Bryan Hughes goal vs Villa 2006.

    West Ham 4 - 2

(wasnt at Highbury for the 4 - 2 otherwise would have included it)

    For me

    1) Hammering Chelski 4-2

    2) Beating Arsenal at their place 4-2

    3) Robbo's Man Utd equaliser and his reaction unforgetable

I am only hoosing the games I was at:

Danny Mill's free kick against The Villa to make it 4-3

Robbo's equaliser in the 3-3 Man U Game

Lisbie's winner at Chelski in the last minute.

I think 3 of the best is too short..............I can think of at least another half a dozen !!

  • You got there before me Nicholas...

Pringle's equaliser vs Newcastle nearly brought the roof off, and ended a long run of defeats (can't remember how many exactly)
  • In the following order

    1. 4-3 Villa park

    2. 2-2 Man u

    3 4-2 Chelsea

I drink too much so my memory is pretty much shot. However, one hazy memory I have, which has not been mentioned yet, was the game in which Jon Fortune man-marked Alan Shearer and eventually got him sent off. Obviously, I can't remember the year, let alone the date!

    Chelsea on boxing day

Beating Southampton 5-0 on the first home game in the premier- " Can we play you every week?!"

    Barlett's wonder goal at Leicester

Kevin Lisbie's hatrick against Liverpool just bizarre how he managed it.
