Balotelli

Just saw him score against chelsea with a great finish. But however some people seem to hate the man. Would you be happy with a balotelli personality at charlton ?

  • Football needs characters like Balotelli.

Divides opinions but gets people talking.

    I think he's great.

so long as the manager treats him just the same as the other players .. who wouldn't want such a great player playing for their team .. thing is, would he replace Wright-Phillips ?

    Samee...

However I was watching bbc's version of gillete soccer special( I think it maybe final score ) and there was some geezer on there saying that man city need to get rid of balotelli as he's going to cost city vital games. This was after he's goal he scored of his shoulder.

  • There was some pillock saying "there's no place for his antics in the game - he should be banned" after his shouldered goal the other week

His arrogance makes him a character and, as previously stated, the game needs characters and nutters
  • He's easily the best thing in English football at the moment. Huge talent and potential, great character and seems to be a nice guy underneath it all. You get the odd tantrum but it's mostly been fun antics or stupidity that ends up putting himself in harms way. As of yet doesn't seem to have done anything to hurt anyone else. He had quite an upbringing as well if you read his Wikipedia entry.

    Forza Balotelli.

  • I wouldn't mind a Balotelli type player at Charlton as long as he had the same sort of talent! Balotelli is just as likely to do something ingenious as something utterly mental (or sometimes both) but if you had someone who gave it all that on the pitch but never performed you'd lose patience fast...

My favourite player currently playing, absolute legend and the news stories are brilliant
  • Have to say he is a hero on and off the pitch!
  • 150 grand fine for fencing with rolling pins at 1am in a curry house before a vital game.  You have to like him.
  • He's growing on me to be honest, last few decisions against him seemed a bit harsh

This is why i like him!! What a tool, but what a player!! That goal last night was the nuts. Shame they lost tho!! hate Chelsk!
  • He makes me chuckle and for that reason I like him............
  • He's great to watch.  Love his audacity of the goal non-celebrations.  He didnt even crack a smile in front of the Chelsea fans last night. Genius.
  • Great player. Sign him up Chrissy

    Forza Balotelli.

Apart from throwing darts at youth team players!

    Love him though!

  • He's a legend already, he is completely bonkers off the pitch, and can back up his arrogance on the pitch too
  • Has anyone heard he's story about the school kid and the bully ? .... Not many footballers would give a s##t these days.

Fair play to Balotelli the lad.
  • Balotelli is amazing, totally bonkers! Not too different to Di Canio if truth be told.
  • liking him more every time i see him

like his doe-eyed, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth look on the pitch knowing that there is a potential to explode at any given moment

I don't think I'll ever get over this though...

  • Balotelli is quality. The story about him drining into a womens prison is good too, just because he wanted to have a look!
