Charlton Managers - Quiz Machine

I was on a quiz machine at lunch earlier, playing Match of the Day - Road to Victory (A football based hangman type game). One of the categories flashed up saying Charlton Managers, obviously I was straight on that. It was four letters only, immediately thought Seed or Reed so put in an e but nothing, one life lost.

Used up my "free letters" bonus and it gave me the last letter which was a K. Of course then I was completely stumped. Can anyone here put me out of my misery and tell me the answer!

I agree - it's a crap question. But I have checked and there are no Charlton managers spelt _ _ _ K.
