Penalties made it even sweeter I guess. Loving this season especially the way they've sacrificed the league for this competition...

One of my team is there tonight.

Just texted him to say I expect him in no later than 9.00am or he'll have to take the morning off.

Made him take the afternoon off to go :-)

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch!
  • I bet their f***ing ultra to**ers are creeping around the back streets of Cardiff now with their scarves and flags shoved right out of sight.

Prefer not to see Lennie at Palace but still grateful for what he did for us.

Would have been a travesty if Palarse had gone through but Cardiff lacked quality in the final third - missed obvious balls- very ponderous attacking wise.

I don't hate palace, too many mates are palace. I used to watch Crawley when Charlton were away when I was about 12. Steve Avory used to get our tickets delivered to Hazelwick school.
  • I reckon our team now would have seen both of them off.

Not going to lie and say I'm not happy to see them go out but only because I didn't want to hear about how wonderful they and their supposedely world class youth academy are. Plus as my son goes to a school close to the Bromley/Croydon border he'll be having a good time tomorrow.

Reality is they were contesting a league cup semi and we were in the Kent Cup. And that's not good enough.

But the wheel is turning. We are on that long road back with long term stabilty, infrastructure and finance in place as well as Mr Powell.

While we've been down in the lower reaches they've done nothing other than go through another administration.

Next season we will be back in the same division and over the next five years we'll revert to our historical position of number 1 in South London.

I had a sudden look of horror when Cardiff blew over their 1st pen!
  • Fantastic, Cardiff didnt let us down.
  • it was painful and gave me that sick feeling but nowhere near as bad as when the scum were chasing that fa cup final and winning the play offs but this was a much more beautiful ending

ive already had a bet with a millwall fan we finish above em next season in the footballing structure !

that was too stressful for my liking. thought it was theirs when that fella missed that header at the end.

huge cheer and feeling of relief at the end.

cant wait to get up, number 1 in south london, teach palace and millwall a lesson next season (i hope)
  • Really enjoyed the game and the penalties.

the amount of league one insults being thrown at me this evening in their defence is embarrassing. when i point we're top and will beat them next year i get no response. Embarrassing club with terrible fans... CANT WAIT TO PLAY EM COME ON POWELL STUFF EM!

But Cardiff are supposed to be one of the better teams but were so one dimensional -we have so much more quality than they showed- only Whittingham looked decent.
