Yes but I believe he pleaded not guilty.
  • Can't see it happening but that would be a great signing , in this league and the championship , very good player imo ,

Interesting to see if he passes CP's 'good bloke' test.
  • Player and person two very different considerations.

He's an excellent goalscorer who can hold the ball up well. He looked very good at the start of the season for Hibs and some of his finishing is just excellent. He would do well in this division, but I'm not sure about his character, has been in alot of trouble which is why his number of international caps is lower than you would imagine it would be. He can probably hold the ball up better than BWP or Kermogant and would be an interesting option - of all our players he's probably most similar to Hayes but a better finisher. He'd want decent wages I'd imagine and we'd probably have to pay Hibs about £1m (guesstimation) for him unless their are contractual clauses that I don't know about.

The move to Russia was a bit of a disaster but I'm pretty sure he scored the winning goal in their Cup final or something like that, he was on ridiculous money over there as well.

Would be a strange signing seeing as we just got Clarke.

Does anyone here seriously think we'll sign another striker in this window?

We have Kermogant, BWP, Hayes, Clarke and Euell.

Although we could play all 5 at the same time, CP isn't that stupid and will only play 2, leaving 3 of them tweeting on the bench/stand.

    Aint gonna happen......................................

Kermogant and BWP are going nowhere, Clarke just signed so same, As for the other two, Hayes only signed in the summer and Euell is only tied to a contract till the summer.

Golfaddick- no, I don't class Euell as a striker but do you think we could honestly find a better one that's happy to be 5th choice?

I assume the Mysterons are willing to speculate on players they consider can play at Championship level if they consider it a good deal. As already said I doubt they see Euell the answer and I get the feeling Hayes has not been the signing CP hoped for. If the price is right I could see this happening.

Failed at Birmingham. Failed at Barnsley. Nothing special at Hibs. No thanks.

Anything is possible - she's had four husbands! (The second was my plastic surgeon's son).
