I got an A So cheers for all of your help, obviously I couldn't use all of the language in this thread as some of it was a bit to extreme for the exam board to handle.

    Thabo (Mbeki) - brekkie

"Gotta have me Thabo in the morning"

    Ko Samui - Chewy

"Got any Kosas... I've got dog breath"

I do actually use these sadly.

I have two favourites. One because people use it without realising it's ryhming slang: "you're a berk". Berk being short for Berkshire Hunt. You can do the ryhming bit yourselves.
The second is the double rhyme - Aris. (Aris = Aristotle = Bottle = Bottle and Glass = Arse.) If you like you can take it a stage further: April = Arse by using April in Paris for Aris.
This site is quite good http://www.cockneyrhymingslang.co.uk/ I was amused to see they have include Alan = Flu. The Alan in question being, of course, Pardew. Quite appropriate I thought.

Sat indoors and had a bit of Brian Clough and then went out for a couple of Richard Geres and then came home and smashed me bird`s back doors in, straight in the old onion sack!

Kosas is short for Koh Samuies (if there was a plural of Koh Samui) which are Chewies (yes, Gum).

Maybe it should be spelt Kohsas, I really don't know - it's made up and can be spelt however you want!

  • Favourite from chilhood was "grumble" as in "grumble and grunt". It was once on Steptoe and son
Harold: "You only go down that club for the grumble".
I am sure the BBC/who ever did not know what they were doing!
