    Depends how badly things spiral out of control. If we miss automatic promotion it might not be that anything has gone wrong simply that two other teams have a better run in. Chris stays in that scenario. If we miss the playoffs then chris might very well be looking for another job.
    I don't mind these kind of threads because it reminds us that we still have a long way to go this season.

    It was a a genuine question. I dont think it will happen. I am curious as to what people think the fallout of thinkable might be.

    In answer to your hypothetical question , I would think SCP should be given to November to see how he lifts his troops if the unthinkable happened
    And we'd see how good the new owners really are , it's when the shit starts hitting the fan that the owners true colours and expertise will be shown

    It might not have been a bad thread, but I think for most people it wasn't the right time to post it. In the next 8 days we will play two of our biggest rivals for promotion. This morning hundreds (possibly thousands) of Charlton fans will make the long journey North to see the team in a game that is likely to be one of the toughest this season. Yet, with our fantastic record there's no reason to think that we can't win. So, people are thinking ahead to two matches with a good mix of excitement, optimism and trepidation. I can quite understand why they are calling for a thread to be sunk which is ultimately doom and gloom. For many, it's just not the right time to be talking about stuff like this.

    Bloody hell lads. I actually think it's a good question, considering the fact the owners already gave Powell more time than most would at the end of last season. I think he'll have enough credit in the bank to survive if we don't go up, but if things weren't looking very positive by November he'd be gone. I think we'd struggle to hold on to BWP, Wiggy, Morrison and Hollands though which could be disastrous.

    To all the 'sink' people, do you get mad when people have parties and it's not your birthday? Do you struggle to understand how someone could want to talk about a topic you don't like? In that case, this forum is going to blow your mind

    We have 22 games to go if we can get 12 more wins that will give us 90 points and 4 draws is 94 points got to be close to get us up, and the way we have been doing all season we may even get to the ton.
