Agreed. I've had 3 'Blades' working on my house over the last few months and today was working alongside a joiner fitting my kitchen until 2:15pm. He wished us luck for the game, anything but a wednesday win he said. Didn't wish us as much luck next week however, but is happy to go up in 2nd with us as winners. He did say though that he has been to The Valley a few times and has 'always' enjoyed the trip and atmosphere there. Not often i've heard that from an Owl. I'm almost hoping we go up with Utd as runners up now. We talked about 'The Massive' and were both in agreement that having grown up in a town with such a 'massive' club, it's nice to put one over them. I may live in Hillsborough, but i know where my loyalties lie. Come on you Reds!!0 -

I have many connections in Sheffield and prefer Wednesday. But am genuinely staggered at their views of today's game. Clearly they're not used to losing at home. Even the Sheffield Green'un says we were 'formidable opposition' in the 2nd half and made Weaver the MotM. Recognition that we were the better team.0

I wouldn't discount MK Dons at this stage. If they had won today instead of having their match postponed, they would have gone above the Wendys and if they win both their games in hand they would be just one point behind Sheff U. And they have only lost 4 games this season, fewer than either Sheffield clubs. Mind you none of them can match us!!! Most wins, most points, best defence - which is why we are TOTL0

Spoke to 2 Weds fans today , 1 before the match an older guy who was really nice and friendly , a 'good egg' spoke to a younger guy after the game who was a complete knob , i told him not to worry as Wednesday would definately make the playoffs , he was convinced they were going to finish 2nd , deluded.....0
