4,214 sold in home areas for this game - that compares with 912 for Chesterfield and 1,994 for Exeter at the equivalent stage before the game. We have been selling at about 200 a day, but we have a lot of promotional ads out there next week and would expect it to accelerate from midweek. Hopeful at this stage that this one will sell out completely.

That would be very impressive if it sold out.

Just bought 4 tickets for the lower north. Hopefully close to my old season ticket spot.

Just Over 5,000 tickets sold for £5.
  • Any indication on Stevenage's allocation? Or how many they may bring? If they dont sell out, will the Jimmy Seed stand open to Charlton fans?

I live just a couple miles from Stevenage, they are talking of "travelling in their thousands" in the media but when I enquired at the ticket office in Broadhall Way I was told there are loads left and unlikely to sell out, its being overshadowed by Spurs in the cup so hopefully thier heads will be turned on and off the field by this.

Quite looking forward to getting on the train at Knebworth with a load them on board, quite afew Addicks out here as there was a big post blitz migration to Stevenage from SE London, sadly a few Palace and Millwall as well though

Tickets have arrived this morning. The only bright spark in an awful day so far.

I seem to recall Airman posting on here a week or two ago that they had already sold over 2,000, their web site is pushing the fact all tickets are a fiver and they go on to say a lot of fans would have ear marked this game anyway.

When he said Stevenage 2k, I think he was referring to home tickets sold.

Well that wasn't very clear was it, bloody tin pot club with poor communication again.

    :-)
  • I'm hoping that they'll be well up for the banter.
  • I'd expect Stevanage to bring a good 2000

Massively attractive away game for them-big club/big ground/top of the league and they themselves are going well for the play-offs

And don't underestimate how attractive the price is
  • According to the Stevenage O/S tickets for this game don't go in sale till Thursday 16th Feb so I guess they haven't sold any yet

Correct. They have an initial allocation of 1,300. Whether they get any more will depend on home demand and whether the police allow us to segregate the James Marshall Seed stand.

We're past the 5,500 mark now. That's three times the number at the same stage for Chesterfield. This time . . .

I hope we don't have any billboards or internet offers, we know how tacky and ridiculous they are...

We have to offer Stevenage fans the same as ours. If weather is good I think we will get our biggest gate of the season. Any chance of that opera singer girl singing a few songs?

Really? I'm all for attracting as many people as possible, but i don't want to be stepping into Palace territory. What has an Opera singer got to do with league 1 football? Its a bit too American for a game against the mighty Stevenage.
