Absolutely delighted. another clean sheet against promotion rival.. Our defence really is something special this year. +32 goal difference and 60 points from 26 games, what more could you ask for?

9 more wins and a few draws...

It's another 3 points but probably lucky today ( oh sorry , we're lucky every week). Can we put games to bed earlier please, not good for the ticker!

Sheff Utd 1 shot on target, so can't say we were hanging on THAT much..

  • To add to the stats - Charlton 13 fouls conceded, Sheffield United 14 fouls conceded, seven players booked and two reds. It didn't seem that sort of match though...
  • Now that IS a MASSIVE result. This season just gets better and better. Looking forward to Chesterfield already. What a time to support Charlton, when the next game can't come soon enough, and for the right reasons. Well done CP and the boys. Some will say we done a job on them, well so be it. To get promotion, it's not the taking part that counts, it's the winning.
  • Fantastic result, this really is are season.

    Result today!

7 points clear of 2nd with a game in hand.
Both Wendies and the Franchise drop points.

Just need Brentford to do a job on Udders tonight.
  • Best team we have played against that I have seen, very similar to us in many ways , they had a lot of possession but not much to trouble hamer other than what he caused himself, it was obvious we didn't know whether to twist or stick and it showed with a nervy 20 mins in the second half,

Hats off to Sheffield u they will go up 2nd imo

    Solly or Taylor my mom

Jacko what a free kick again take a bow skipper you are unreal
  • bbit tasty out side right now so I have been told hope everyone gets home safe

Yann Kermogant - selfless, hard working and the best forward on the pitch.

Russell sent off for what? Winning the ball with nobody around him?!

Would pick Sheff Utd to go up with us if we do
  • Sat at work with a sausage roll and a mug of tea, listening to Radio Sheffield - 'Praise or Grumble'. It's what dreams are made of, lol.

Chesterfield won today for the first in '18'. Do we have anything to fear for next week?
  • good game! great result! terrible ref!!!

  • Tbf they were worth a point but once again our back four were too good for them. Hamer worries me on crosses, Yann was battered again, BWP is working really hard and needs his goal, Pritch's energy is great, the ref lost it but a great result!

Edit.....apologies.....l left the pc on and Ms RM who is suffering from a bad cold...decided to jump on here and complain (in her way) that I hadnt been looking after her!!! Now where's my doctors uniform????
  • 'Praise or Grumble'

Owl on, moaning about Megson saying last week, 'we'll bounce back next week' and fan not happy. Fan saying 'if we're gonna play the long ball game, we're gonna go nowhere.' also calling for Megson to go if that's all his team have to offer.

Blade on upset with Beattie letting side down getting sent off, and said they played us off the park at The Lane. I was there and don't remember that strangely. I remember a quality 2-0 win to us, lol.

    The Reds are going up.
  • Well done lads, would have taken a draw today the form the Blades have been in, great result.
  • RedMidland, thanks for the commentary mate.

Great game...pretty even really, won by a piece of magic from JJ

Talyor was awesome at the back and MOM by a country mile, he won EVERYTHING
  • Russell dived in 2 footed it seemed from where I was but I didn't have the best view, and beauties got sent off for his reaction to yann with the tackle, I think the ref saw a bit too much bite in Russells tackle because he immediately pulled the red card out, the lino got beattie sent off,

But I will say again hamer had little to do in ways of shots on goal but looked very suspect at crosses and distribution today

Great result made all the better by sitting into next to a full blown mentalist.
