I know a lot has been said about the massive Weds lot, but one of their fans today has fallen from the kop whilst celebrating a goal, and from what it sounds is in a poor way

i for one hope the fella is ok, it is only football and we all get a bit excited when we score, but sounds like this lad got a bit too excited

speedy recovery,

  • Maybe he wasn't celebrating a goal, maybe it was when hartlepool scored he threw himself off.

    Only kidding.

Ozzie Owl was taken to hospital, with concussion, after being punched in the head by an angry fan today as well.
    Hope the bloke is alright.

After seeing the images on the thread, I would be very surprised if the club avoid a major slap on the wrist. All fans in that area were standing, including many on the steps that are painted yellow. The one steward could be seen at the top of of the steps paying no attention to those there.

I work for a company that was prosecuted and fined for failing to provide hot running water for hand washing, despite hot water being available and being in the process of being fitted when we received the visit! Any business making the radar these days need to be whiter than white or risk the consequences.

I am amazed that he appears to have got away with so few injuries. Hope he makes a full recovery.

  • Yeah I'm glad he wasn't seriously injured. He will dine out on the story for a long time though.
