Just to put this in perspective I believe we had a higher attendance than QPR in the Prem and 90% of the Championship games. Can't we just be happy with that without beating ourselves up about the amount that were NOT there or how much noise we didn't make?0

When we were last in the 3rd tier we'd have been happy with half that amount.
Shows how far we have come.

Exactly SA! I think that it's only the Jonnie Come Latelys who are moaning about the support myself...0

Thought the same, looked around 22500!0

People always get confused about the attendance because it is not actually attendance but tickets sold (and comps). I imagine the reason it felt like a bigger crowd was because the majority of season ticket holders were there whereas there will often be more than 2,000 missing. In the Championship season the crowd was often stated as over 20,000 but numbers inside the stadium were as little as 15,000.0

If you like to guess the crowd on the day, then wait to half time and see what the value of the instant jackpot is. so this Saturday it was £996 first prize and with this figure I guessed a value of 21000 at half time. It would seem that the instant jackpot is approx the equivalent of 1/20th of the crowd.
But sometimes I buy one ticket, and on Saturday I bought three, so can't see how that works really!0 -
On TV the Lower North always looks half empty but looking down on it it looks pretty full0

Think that the fact that this was a top price match took a thousand off.0

Airman Brown January 22
Hold your head in shame Airman - wait until Henry sees this.......
For the conspiracy theorists, we sold about 300 for cash at the north and 150 for cash at the south yesterday.0
