Whereabouts are you based exactly? I was on holiday in southern Germany during the summer - father-in-law is from Nuremberg and we were staying down near Oberammagau and then in a small town near Sigmaringen - is that near you? Beautiful part of the world.

    I live in Freiburg, in south west Germany, around 40 miles north of Basel and around 20 miles in from the French border, there is a bit of France that juts into Germany and Freiburg is just south of that. Freiburg is the capital of the Black Forest

    Yes I know it - went there for a day trip a few years ago (while on holiday in Germany).
