To be fair ketman, your right. It's not so much the location it's the quality of the entertainment, although who know's , Southend might play positive attacking football....

Look out for the slightly drunk bloke behind the goal singing 'Simon Jordan is a wanker' on his own.

I reckon the man himself would join in - oh dear bad image of the day, him carrying out said action in front of the mirror whilst singing it. I'm off to be sick, it's too plausible...

Simon Jordan, has for me reached the point where defending him is defending the indefensible...he is the Jade Goody of chairman. To be fair as a palace fan he has done some good things for the club, I just wish he would keep his gob shut!

You reap what you sow ......... and in SJ's case he has obviously sown a nice bunch of satsuma trees that are clearly coming up a treat.
    Burp!

what did you make of it Southend ?
  • Palace played ok actually, soaked up a load of pressure and had that bit of extra quality when it mattered.

Southend huffed and puffed but had to resort to pot shots from 25 yards. Think they are going down now.

Surprised with the Palace support for a nothing game, more than we took to Spurs.

Southend fan here said it was a bit of a reality check for them after some recent good form. Was also impressed with the Palace turnout.
