Is it me !! I think they are high ball merchants -- over zealous and will leave the boot in --
Crap Ground and Fans do hope we have only one toilet for them all -Mind more than likely only be a few off them - if you were at away game you know what i mean.
I hope we smash them and give them the same crap they gave us --
A bit off topic but could still affect the playoffs - I see Carlisle got tanked by Brentford tonight.
Poor old Carlisle are too often on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline when playing in London.
I'm probably in a minority of 1 saying this but for me Brentford are the best side other than Sheffield United (or should I say the pigs this week!) and Huddersfield I've seen at The Valley so far and i've seen every home league match.
Don't begrudge anyone who beats us, as long as it's done fair and square.......Orient played some terrifc stuff on the day and well deserved their victory, so I dont have a problem with that at all. HOWEVER.........the Stevenage result was a travesty of football justice.......absolute flukey goal and gamesmanship verging on cheating from start to finish. Every trick in the book was used to slow us down and break our rythm, lousy pitch, the ballboys openly being encouraged and applauded by Stevenage players to return the ball at a snails pace....rarely walked away from a ground more annoyed at losing and feeling mugged than that day. Ever since I've wanted nothing but REVENGE!!! I hope CP and the lads feel the same.

Brentford were a decent side. Douglas ( I think) controlled the midfield well for them (esp 2nd half) but like a number of the teams I've seen at the Valley they lacked any real cutting edge up front. But maybe that says more about our defensive qualities rather than the oppositions attacking strengths.
I think it can become a self fulfilling prophecy - I think from comments the players have made- this game is one they have been looking forward to since the away match and I think that is a fantastic attitude and says a lot about them. We certainly need to be cheering them over the line rather than getting edgy or impatient though.

Some of the comments on here are totally bananas. Hoping for a draw at home to Stevenage?! Give me a break.
Absolutely nothing to fear from that set of cloggers, I'm sure they expended a lot of energy defending for 90+ minutes last night. Spurs were woeful (probably in part due to an equally unimpressive pitch), yet all Stevenage could muster were about umpteen harmless efforts from distance (1 only just whizzing past the post, in fairness).
I am under no illusions that the game will be a stoll in the park. Their work rate is immense and it will be a tight game but we should go into it with a very good chance of securing 3 points.
Stevenage have a tricky game away to manager-less Notts County on Wednesday evening and they will have one eye on the replay at WHL. They might even look quite jaded by the time they roll up to the Valley on Saturday afternoon...
Lost away at Notts County last night 1-0, thought I'd put the stats up...........may not mean a lot but might be useful to this debate-: Notts County first-: possession 54% - 46% shots on 9 - 3 shots of 6 - 5 corners 3 - 3
Goals 1 - 1
BBC write up -: Jeff Hughes scored an injury-time winner as Notts County beat Stevenage in Keith Curle's first game in charge. Jonathan Forte fired over from long range and Alan Judge hit the bar for Notts, while Chris Beardsley went close for the visitors in the first half. Second-half substitute Don Cowan missed a great chance for Stevenage, before Kieron Freeman forced a great save from Chris Day at the other end. Two minutes into injury time, Hughes's strike from 16 yards won it for Notts.
Steveange line-up (+ subs used) 16 Day 03 Laird 04 Charles (Cowan - 56' ) 05 Ashton 14 Roberts 25 Henry 02 Wilson 13 Byrom 24 Bostwick 15 Freeman (Long - 71' ) 20 Beardsley (Edwards - 87' )
Tough high profile game v Spurs last weekend with replay at WHL on their minds. Loss midweek and two days to recover before tough trip to The Valley. COYR
Stevenage lost at Notts County last night, and I think you can forget about them not being up for it on Saturday. The point is will we be up for it in the right way. I think CP will know that moving Wiggins and bringing in Evina instead of bringing in Hughes on Tuesday probably cost us two points, and he tends to be a quick learner. It was interesting that Hughes, writing in Tuesday's programme was talking about the spell of 5 games which he had which brought us 15 points. CP is a lovely bloke, but sometimes he picks his team with his heart rather than his head.

Granpa as mentioned above........evidently the lads are well up for this one because of the manner in which we were 'mugged' (that's the only word for it) at their place.

He's not the only one. I've been banging on for ages about how much better we played with Hughes in CM. I just wish SCP would give it another go. If it was a fluke then we're not really any worse off but if it wasn't then we might just rediscover the fluid, freescoring play that we had earlier in the season.

Looks as though they put their first team out.
As they are moaning about how many tickets they got for us?
