Eltham to charlton by train

To London and back out on Saturday

    You'd need to change at Blackheath. Might be a direct bus, not sure, but probably wouldn't be quicker than 2 stops to Blackheath, then 1 stop back the other way to Charlton.
  • train from eltham to blackheath, cross to the other platform, then train to charlton. simples!
  • You can change at Blackheath or Lewisham to get the train back out to Charlton, though this line isn't very frequent

    Get the bus. 161 but get off at the Hospital rather than going into Woolwich. We are temporarily in Eltham so you may see us on it also!

    go to lewisham if you are unsure of the train times as more trains go from lewisham to charlton than blackheath to charton.

    Don't all trains from Lewisham on the Woolwich line stop at Blackheath?
