What Off It said, and you can't just run away from what you've said in the past, and in a lot of cases with so much confidence.
Ah, but "anyone" could've got us promoted with this team. Particularly when I called ALL of the new signings.

That's how football works you see. Just like on my Playstation.
  • It is easy in hindsight though. I don't think we should point fingers at anyone. People were only speaking because of their love of Charlton. It's called passion.
Completely disagree. If people go shooting their mouths off - on here or (more likely) on other Charlton forums - because they apparently have mystic powers and just "know" that everything is turning to sh*t, then they deserve to have their noses rubbed in it when it turns out they have been spouting complete ballcocks. It's not "called passion", it's called being an impatient childish fool. Yes, you know who you are.
To be fair you could turn that argument right around.

It's all like the games on a computer.

So many posters, where so certain that Powell was a failure, and now are trying so hard to just wave away there bile from last year.

Powell's players, Powell's signings, Powell's success. People just holding their hands up and saying they were wrong would be refreshing

You could indeed. But why do some people always look for the worst? What's wrong with a balanced view and not wailing like a child? Lack of "passion" I guess.

Reckon we should send you to the Middle East. I'd give it a week before you'd got the Arabs and Jews having a mass love-in!
    ;o)

Calling Chris "Sir" is childish. He's not received a letter from the Queen inviting him to the palace and until he does he is not a "Sir".

    Was Clive Mendonca super?
Was there only one Johnny Robinson?
Lots of football is childish. Like calling fellow fans childish.
    Its a term of affection.

Nah, my mate (Johnny) makes it two at least.
And Clive had NO superpowers like X ray vision or web-spinning ability.
    Except that hat-rick, of course.
