Mine is Wimpy. The best one is in Welling as for some reason the burgers are always fully cooked. I like my meat well done. Woolwich is my nearest so hopefully i'll go there soon when it opens again. I quite like Starburger as well and I usually go to the one in Erith. But as Ive gotten older my taste buds have changed and ive started to eat more curry and kebabs. Ive never ate curry and kebabs when i was a kid as i prefered Wimpy and Starburger. McDonalds and KFC are ok but they're not a patch on Wimpy!
I agree with you, good food and table service to boot. Not that I've been to one lately, me and a mate used to go daily for a Kingsize and chips followed by a brown derby. Didn't put a pound on in those days either!
Other than that Burger King is OK but I miss the magnificent Mushroom Double Swiss. Wendys did a Mushroom Bacon Melt which was great too.

This is obviously a lie in Scotland this would not include salad that would just be extra chips or a white pudding.a munchy box or a mixed kebab calzone pizza
Is that one of the kebab/cury/chips/chicken in a pizza box things?
thats them, wouldnt even look at one sober but was in edinburgh with my cousin once on the way home from the pub he went to the kebab shop and came out with one. it had doner meat, chicken tikka pieces, pakora's, chips naan bread, salad a tub of curry sauce and a tub of chilli sauce.0 -

Wimpy. Nothing beats it - quarterpounder with cheese or the comically named bender in a bun. Their chips are better than all the others as well. There's an awesome Wimpy in Croydon - back when I was a fat bastard I used to visit it about once a week. In fact, Wimpy is the one fast food i really miss (lost two stone in two months by staying away from fast food gaffs)
Oh - and Oakster is right - Poutine is the most moreish food you could ever imagine.0 -
redarmy has nailed in , boneless banquet for one , you cant beat that0

Cod and chips
KFC. But not legs0 -
I used to work in the Wimpy at Chelmsford Megabowl. I'd make an animal burger - 1/4 pounder, spicy chicken, bender with an egg in the middle, bacon. About the only good thing about working there.0

I'll give you that!
Chick Chicken in Plumstead is quite decent and also the Kebab Shop (can't remember the name) near Plumstead corner is good also. Always ask for a small kebab and they will still give you a large one for the price of a small one. I never have chillie sauce but kechup instead. Im getting hungry!@se10........but they smell good!
Uncle's. possibly the best kebab shop in se london0 -

Yeah I remember those. They had one at Charing Cross and the burgers had real mustard that burnt your tongue. I was only a kid and i couldn't eat it as it was too hot but now I would probably love it if it was still around.0 -
