Are Peterborough getting rid of their terrace? A Brighton fan mentioned it but I havn't seen any news.
Sod Brentford, that's a proper terrace and a very easy away game to do.
They have a limited number of seasons they can spend in the second tier before they have to close any terraced areas, happened to Plymouth a few years ago. Not sure whether Posh are allowed to keep there's open next season.
Taking 10 points from the Sheffield teams. Terracing Cheaper tickets Being the 'big club' that everyone wants to beat Visiting places I haven't been to before or been to for years
Going to away grounds that have terracing. Going to away grounds and expecting us to win. Hartlepool, Bury, Stevenage and any other ground I didn't get round to going to. Feeling like a massive team wherever we go. Being at home to sides like Yeovil and thinking "we're gonna smash these".
Parking opposite the ground and paying on the door (Tranmere) Proper opposition fans (a Brnmth guy said to me that we had "no Elliot to save us this time" Bookies having no idea how to price up our games (5/6 at Chesterfield then 11/8 v Stvnge) Being a big scalp for other clubs (Dag & Red thought they had beaten Barca last season) Away wins and celebrations (Sheff Weds in Jan was a tear-jerker)
I don't understand the comments about the fans, are people suggesting that you don't get proper fans in the championship?
Different people may well mean different things.
I'm referring to such as Rochdale and Bury fans who come to Charlton on a cold Monday or Tuesday night only to be told by our intelligentsia that their support is f****** sh**.
These fans support their local team despite having seven Premiership clubs within a reasonable distance (could only be four next season though) and are thoroughly decent people (no Millwall type tendencies) when you talk to them.

I admire their dedication and loyalty.
I have to agree with this. Dissing the Rochdale fans for their numbers is pathetic, every one of them is a hero, and their team rewarded them with a draw at the league leaders. How would we feel if a handful of us schlepped up to man City midweek and came away with a draw?
Orient away Brentford away Having leg room during home matches Being able to park my car round the corner instead of walking miles ... can't think of a 5th one.
St James, Exeter. Being the biggest team in the league (sorry, that was a bit Wednesday). Being able to get a ticket for under £30 Always EXPECTING to go up this season. The inverted snobbery that comes from telling plastic Arse/Chelski/Manure etc "fans" that you support a proper football team.
1. Space to stretch out in my seat. 2. No queue's for the toilets before a game. 3. ( This season ) Being the big cheese in the league and the team that everyone wants to beat. 4. The Paint Pot Cup ( thought we would actually get a cup run out of that! ) 5. Cheap away day tickets and easy parking.
Bournemouth - My only real "home" game Yeovil - I hour 15 mins drive to watch the boys on a terrace with no protection from wind and rain. Love it League one s/t prices Players coming to us because we are "a big club" Good honest pro's with no massive egos

It was my nearest match this season.
Next year Bristol City will be my nearest, if they stay up.
And BTW, Bristol is nearer to London than it is to Cornwall.
