Hamer - 5 Not helped by his defence. Where was the communication for the 3rd?
Solly - 6 Struggled against a nippy right winger.
Taylor - 5 Got in a right mess for their 3rd.
    Morrison - 5 Couldn't handle Forte.
Wiggins - 5 Summed up his game when he missed the ball near the end for our corner.
    Haynes - n/a
Hollands - 5 Struggled against the extra man in midfield and Mahon won most of the headers.
Stephens - 5 Some loose passing and struggled against the extra man in midfield.
Jackson - 5 Some poor touches and struggled to get in the game.
Wright-Phillips - 7 Got his goal from a half chance, Charltons Man of the Match second half.
Kermorgant - 5 Not at his best but kept battling.

Wagstaff - 6 Earned his goal but some of his passing was awful as was most above. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP ROLLING AROUND FFS!

Hamer..5 Didnt have much chance with some goals but indecisive on others.
Solly..6.. Tried hard and worked hard
Taylor..5.. Stinker. 2 nil down, just get rid of it!! Didnt clear it, caused indecision in Hamer and didn't shield it very well .Just get rid of it for a corner and let the defence get back in position. Major mountain to climb after that goal.
Morrison..6.. Solid at times and let down by those around him and carries the can too as a result.
Wiggins..5.5.. Seems to have lost his form in recent weeks
Wagstaff..7.. Had a decent game and got us back in it briefly.Deserves a wee run of games.
Hollands..6.. Its a battlefield at times and he is a battler for sure.
Stephens5.5.. Too often he doesn't make himself available for a pass. Needs to be much more positive.
Jackson..5.5..Looks way off the pace. When he's closed down quickly he hasnt the pace to get away.Still our best dead ball expert though.
BWP..8.. MOM .Showed hunger and desire . Worked tirelessly too. A great effort from him.
Kermorgant..7..Decent effort. Took a lot of knocks today.

Hamer - 4. At fault for first (long range went through both hands) and third when he should take control.
Solly - 5. Got caught out more often than ever.
Morrison - 5 both he and Taylor got the runaround by Forte
    Taylor - 5
Wiggins - 5. What has happened to him? His strength is as an attacking full back but he didn't do that at all and defensively was only average
Wagstaff -6. Made the goal for BWP and scored so gets an extra mark but overall his contribution was negligible. He offloads the ball rather than passes it and falls over more than Charlie Chaplin
Hollands - 5.5. In the first half wasn't in the game but kept going
Stephens - 5. Too often County passed the ball around him. Better in the second half when he had the ball to feet.
Jackson - 4.5. Absolutely anonymous in the first half and only marginally better in the second. His lack of pace in the defensive side of the job was cruelly exposed today.
Kermorgant - 6.5. As always battled well but by coming so deep or wide, he left BWP without support and was slow in getting into the box for crosses
Wright Phillips - 7.5. Worked his heart out throughout the game. Got his goal and made Waggy's through sheer persistence. Shame it was to no avail.

Why did Clarke take his top off and put it back on several times as if he was coming on but never did? The only sub was Waggy for Haynes on 13 minutes and that for injury! What was Powell's thinking on non-use of subs??

Hamer 5 Don't think he's fit which may be a contributory factor in his communication being poor

Solly 6 Tried hard but not as good as recent performances

Morrison 6 Worst I've seen from him communication poor amongst the back 5

    Taylor 6 As Morro

Wiggins 6 Where are those surging runs? Maybe he is holding back becauseof Jacko not being fully fit

Wagstaff 7 well taken goal and an assist and a welcome lack of the histrionics he has sometimes shown

Hollands 6 Plugged away but often outplayed

Stephens 6 As Hollands. He didn't seem to go missing as much which is good.

Jackson 6 Nowhere near as influential as he can be probably because of the injury he is carrying.

Kermorgant 7 Hardworking performance. This guy can play on the deck. We should remember that because we are much better when we play to feet rather than get sucked in to head tennis.

Wright Phillips 8 Nobody ever call him lazy again! Ran his wotsits off and fully deserved his goal. MOM

I'm sure some will say those are way too harsh. But in the first half the defence was all over the place, and no amount of routine defending in the second half could bump their score up to the average mark of 5.
