Burst Balls

Having read the Charlton museum thread and the subsequent 100 Charlton objects which both mention the burst balls in the 46 and 47 finals, just wanted to ask, was I imagining that it also happened in the 98 playoff final too?

    I thought the same re 1998.

    I vividly remember Danny Mills closely examining the ball before taking a throw in and showing it to the ref.

    That's what I thought Len, I'm sure it was mentioned in the commentary too, time to dig out that video (again!)
